Every family can benefit from the support and encouragement given by a postpartum doula during the fourth trimester. I like the image of a sidekick when I think of my work as a postpartum doula. You, the parents, are the heroes while I’m your trusty sidekick. There to help when things get rough, when you’re too tired to remember how a light switch works. I’m not the star of this show. You and your little one are. It would be my privilege to be part of your support team to help you transition into parenthood with a little more ease.

I believe that every new parent deserves a supportive network. Postpartum doula care and community support services provide you with personalized guidance and a nurturing environment during and after the postpartum period. From professional doula care to peer and community-based support, I’m here to help you thrive.

What can I do for your family?

  • Care for your baby while you sleep because let’s face it, parenthood is exhausting
  • Light housekeeping – like that load of laundry that needs folding

I really enjoyed Lisette’s companionship, friendship and no-judgement approach to post partum care. Her emphasis on providing an opportunity to rest was probably the best thing I could have asked for and in hindsight, I would not have prioritized rest and recovery if Lisette wasn’t there to nudge me to take a break.
